Established in 2013 by Founder and CEO Michael Hughes, MHX Digital Media, LLC is a Los Angeles based, fully remote interactive entertainment studio leveraging video games, VR/AR, animation, and film as our preferred media.
We utilize the latest in software development and 3D content creation tools to achieve our goals and continue to add emerging technologies to our toolbox.
We also develop software tools and plugins for interactive entertainment products and provide consulting services.

Michael Hughes – Founder and CEO
MHX’s founder and CEO, Michael Hughes, has over 20 years of software engineering experience, specializing in web, mobile, gaming, and enterprise applications.
His career began with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and has gone on to include a broad range of clients including Verizon, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
Michael also has a creative background, with a decade’s experience in animation, visual effects, and motion graphics production.
Michael holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film and Electronic Media from American University and studied biology, communications, and psychology at Howard University and American University.
He’s always looking to push the boundaries where technology meets art, primarily in the worlds of film/tv and gaming, with a hands-on approach to every MHX project
